The South Pacific Kingdom

The South Pacific Kingdom is a land of rolling grass lands, imposing mountains and lush forests. A land where cities are leagues away and only the brave or the fool hardy risk travel between the fort cities. No roads have been built between the cities save for the caravan paths that have been worn into the soils, grasses and mountains from traders forced to make the treks year after year.

The southern most city is that of Thrane.

A city surrounded on all sides by thick forests. Here a hunter makes his fortune through the countless game species that live on these lands and the lumber man has ample trees to cut. Like all fort cities in the South Pacific this keep is under the control of Khal Jinn. Thrane is the lumber mill center for the whole of the South Pacific. Should Jinn ever open trade with other countries again Thran will no doubt see a boost in its economy.

Just north east of Thrane, past the river is Kandor.

Kandor hugs the river to the west and is a peaceful city with no wall nor fortifications to protect it. Comprised primarily of citizenry with few warriors calling home to the keep it was once held by one of the most vile of noble lords the South Pacific offered. The late Lord of Kandor had made a law in which on the wedding nights of all newly wed brides that the Lord would have the right to lie with the bride as tribute for his blessing of the marriage. Upon sacking Kandor Jinn threw the lord to the mercy of the most recent brides families who promptly stoned him to death before tossing his body in the river. Kandor is a wealthy city of artisans and craftsman whose finery is well known.

The Northern most city is that of Palaven.

By far the largest and most densely populated city in the whole of the South Pacific, Paleven makes its mark on the world through it's fishing of the waters of the Brazilian Ocean. They're known for their hunting of all the seas bounty from fish and crustacean for food to whale for it's precious oil and blubber. Palaven is easily the wealthiest of all the fort cities in the South Pacific and is the most industrialized even so far as to have cobble stone streets. Palaven was one of the hardest fought victories for Jinn to achieve for the highly paid and trained professional military of Palaven is known for their strict discipline and command structure in the field. Never the less it fell like all the others and now is experiencing a period of peace and social equality it has not had for ages.

Just south of Palaven before the mountains is Khal Jinn's mothers homeland and the city where his story began, Vaes Dothrak.

Surrounded on all sides by miles upon miles of rolling grass lands it sits in the shadow of the mountain that separates the South Pacific Kingdom. Vaes Dothrak is home to the horse lord Dothraki that have been living beneath the heel of the noble ruling class for generations. They saw Jinn's arrival as a blessing from their horse God Braego, who had sent Jinn to free them. Free them he did when he butchered all those in the keep. The Dothraki swore fealty to their kinsman and new leader and have since followed Khal Jinn loyally. The Dothraki have impacted Jinn deeply, seeing them as the only family he has left. He has adopted several of their customs and even somewhat models his attire after them. The Land of Vaes Dothraki is a land of fertile, rich soil good for planting crops. If cultivated properly it can sustain the entire kingdom and beyond with fresh crops year after year.

Past the mountains and to the east of the South Pacific Kingdom lies the kingdoms capitol and home to it's greatest fortified city, Arkham.

Arkham is and has always been the political and military epicenter of the whole of the South Pacific Kingdom. It is here where every King, Ruler and now Khal has sat to rule over the land. Arkham is fabled for it's impregnable walls and towering battlements where archers and crossbowmen can be positioned in time of attack. It's close proximity to the Brazilian sea also gives it the room needed to form itself into a naval power. While some fishing is done from the docks Arkham is primarily seen and operates as the nerve center of the South Pacific. It was here that Khal Jinn taught his harshest lesson when he occupied the city for three months yet left the populace relatively unharmed. He dismantled the government, cast the rich into the streets and allowed chaos and anarchy to take control all the while telling the people that they will survive the changes to come. The cruel ploy came to it's culmination on the night he set the city to the flame, the night the fire rose.

The entire city was consumed by fire that fateful night as the city burned it's noble lords were given their final crown in the form of melted gold and silver poured onto their skulls. It is said the smoke from the burning city could be seen across the sea and beyond. Since that horrific night Khal Jinn has set to rebuilding the city for the better. It has since risen from the ashes like a phoenix. A testament to class equality, freedom and justice Arkham is a beacon of hope to the entire kingdom. It is here Khal Jinn watches over his hard fought kingdom with a dutiful eye. Though fear hung heavy the first few months the populace has since learned to not only fear their new ruler but respect and love him for all he has given them from increasing the employment rate, creating a viable city guard force that pursues true justice, shoring up the defenses and granting the citizenry a freedom from the shackles of nobility.

I should go.
